New stuff for cosplay and updates!

So I went on a bit of an online shopping spree this weekend... Ooops.

I really liked using the green sheet to make the (digitally) smooth background behind Yumeko, but the green is pretty harsh. So I bought a pink and a sky blue backdrop to play around with for my next shoots. I know I can just use gel lights on a plain background as well, but currently no photographer I have spoken to has given me a for sure answer about which speed lights and transmitters I should buy to work with my camera, since my Amazon lights failed... So I am happy to just drape a coloured sheet for now!

I also got two printed ones by the same creators of that heart backdrop I used for VKS Evelynn, a spraypainted brick wall and a sort of romantic window. I'll see how they look and decide who they suit best!

I finally caved and bought the Catwoman mask on my wishlist to try it out. I want to have a proper shoot for her, but the mask is so awkward, so we'll see if I can make this one work better.

Finally, I bought some cool new contact lenses for my next cosplay, Megumi from Shiki. She becomes a sort of vampire and gets some pretty creepy eyes that are inconsistent haha... Sometimes full black scleras with a small red ring where the iris would be, and sometimes just black irises with the red ring. Sclera lenses are ridiculously expensive, so I decided not to waste your generous funds on them and went with the smaller style. Also new ones to try for Junko, and a replacement for the Rise/Djeeta lenses that dried out unexpectedly after Yeticon. It's unfortunate that lenses can only be worn for AT MOST a year after opening them, but the case on Djeeta's didn't close properly, so I had to throw them out after only a couple weeks. :(

On top of that, I met with a new photographer who will be getting photos of Magical Girl D.va and Evelynn to start. :) He's worked with Azariah Cosplay and Snow Berry Cosplay, two girls I have collaborated with, and he comes with high praise!
