The girl's stunned facial expression spoke to how effective the attack was, but it clearly wasn't enough to put her down, as Sakura was quick to respond with a kick of her own to Cammy's ribs. The two traded blows, minimizing defense in exchange for a greater offense. Cammy was certain she could win in a back and forth slugfest, owing to both her military discipline, and the fact that while Sakura's gloves were padded for her foe's protection, hers were metal.
As sakura reeled from a punch to the nose, Cammy took the loud sound of crunching cartilidge as confirmation that her foe was going down. She couldn't have been more wrong, as seconds later a much harder blow was plowing through her abs. The body shot shook the young delta red agent in a way she wasn't expecting. Her body shuddered for a moment, unable to move voluntarily, leaving her open for whatever attacks her opponent had in mind.
