Added 2024-12-14 02:00:49 +0000 UTCFinally, Sakura relented. She probably gotten some more hits in, but she knew her opponent was strong enough to mount a counter attack if she kept her guard down any longer. Her foe was clearly losing, but she still had some fight in her.
Cammy took a moment to catch her breath in the merciful moments she had before another attack could start. Her body felt heavier than it usually did. Her legs were shaking, and every breath made her chest and midsection hurt. She had never taken this much damage before, (or so she assumed.) and was admittedly unsure if she could last much longer. However, in spite of this she somehow found herself growing oddly calm. As her heavy breaths continued, she slowly raised her hand to wipe some bloody saliva off her lips.
"You're better than I expected, I admit." She stated. "But make no mistake; I am not losing here. I'm giving you one last chance to surrender before I really hurt you."
"Forgive my arrogance, but I think I'll pass on that offer." Sakura smugly replied.
"Very well then. Come at me."
Sakura obliged, launching a knockout blow directly at the bridge of her opponent's nose. And yet, instead of feeling her foe's nose break under the force of her strongest punch, Sakura only felt air whistling past her fist as her target vanished in a green and red blur. Moments later her arm erupted with pain as Cammy crushed it with her own.
"Don't say I didn't warn you, little bitch."
