As soon as Naruto heard her story he headed out to train, without even having one night’s rest. It seems he understood he must become worthy of the necklace since it comes directly from the first hokage. As you said, Naruto’s morals and ethic are great for such a small kid who was always alone and didn’t get an education or values system from anyone but his own. He’s the best!

2021-04-09 06:22:20 +0000 UTCthe reason everyone in Naruto has such tragic pasts is that Naruto world is like modern day Iraq. Or warring states Japan. Peace was always short, with ninja constantly dying in war. It's not your average sunny shounen world. But maybe that's why Naruto has that depth to tell stories, and it's characters are not some simplistic hero or villain types.
