Not really lol it was more so half half because if Sakura wasn’t there Chiyo wouldn’t have been able to break any of Sasori’s puppets and probably would’ve died when fighting the third kazekage puppet(which chiyo said sakura didn’t need her help with)

Sakura in og naruto was almost useless in a fight. sakura in shippuden taking on akatsuki like sure i can beat them. XD her power just shoots up not to mention learning medical jutsu at the same time. meanwhile naruto got... taller i guess. :3

Like how Allonsyyy thinks Sasori has nothing left in his arsenal in the beginning of every episode haha. That's why this fight doesn't feel as long and drawn out as Orochimaru vs Hiruzen tug of war even though it lasts more episodes I think. They did it very well by not overdoing the flashbacks and making the antagonist pull out the most interesting stuff in the most critical moments. God it just makes me mad they had to waste team Gai's potential in this arc otherwise it would've been perfect.

Exactly, Sasori just had the worst luck having to fight another master puppet user and a medic ninja that so happens to have a counter for his poison. Any other ninja would've have huge problems fighting against Sasori just as much as any other of the Akatsuki!

Sakura was amazing in this arc but a lot of that has also to be attributed to Granny Chiyo. Sakura would have long been killed by Sasori if Chiyo wasn't there. But still compared to what she could do before, Sakura's improvement here as a shinobi was truly magnificent.

Good questions asking if they're human puppets. He never explains with the 100 puppets. I think its fair to say either way. We do know that Sasori defeated an entire nation with them, so his body count is extremely high. I would say he's not as strong as some of the other members, but the man stands tall with the other Akatsuki members. All it takes is 1 hit of poison.
