This was a very good analysis of his character. Well said

Sasori's condition in clinical psychology is called sociopathy. He experiences real feelings but cannot understand nor define them. That's why he wants to be like a puppet (free of emotions) and calls himself unfinished puppet. He made the last decision based on a nostalgic flashback he had but since he cannot understand that feeling, he calls it a whim and "something pointless". If you remember the flashback when Chiyo is rattled by seeing some parents pick up their fallen kid, looks at Sasori and he's just smiling, asking if he can get snacks, that's an important scene to understand that he has always been a sociopath, he was just enabled by his village and the ninja world. Lots in common with Orochimaru, the difference is that Orochimaru is a highly functioning sociopath, aware of himself, Sasori is dysfunctional. That's what Chiyo means when she says it's the village's fault. They never helped him because they didn't believe anything was wrong, they just thought he was a boy who lost his parents. Other psychological disorders are very relevant in Naruto as well, like Sasuke's PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and a few others that haven't been touched on yet (don't wanna spoil).

Needs more sword tug of war. If the sword isn't pulled back and forth for at least 15 episodes whats the point XD awesome fight. Can't wait to see what kakashi and naruto get up to.

I don't have an issue doing that, since it's for the sake of the logical truth. None of us know anything further about Sasori beyond what has been stated in the anime. We don't know his real reasoning, we don't know his true emotions, we don't know what thought processes are going inside his head or what truly made him to be the way he was.

damn calling him out? ahaha

I love how damn arrogant, self-centred and contradictory us humans are... and this not a reference to Sasori, as much it is to the man Allonsyyy himself...

Love how Sasori's impatience comes from him waiting for his parents to return as a child. Hard to say if closure would have been better there or not. Regardless, the way they built up his character made his death for sure not feel upsetting, even though one could argue there was "asspullery".

Mizuki sensei will always be a mustache-twirling bad guy in my book, however xD

KAKASHI MANGEKYOU HYPEEE. Itachi wondered in episode 13 if Kakashi had figured out how to do it, after he asked Itachi about his weakening eyesight -- something Kakashi shouldn't be aware of. Now we see it's confirmed Kakashi has also unlocked the next stage of the Sharingan. Loved this reveal the first time I saw it and every time since.

This is one of the great things about Shippuden. As we see with Sasori, many of the antagonists are more than just simple mustache-twirling "bad guys"; they're real people who lived difficult lives and ended up on the wrong path.
