2021-09-16 19:05:05 +0000 UTCImmortality is a big theme in the Akatsuki. Orochimaru, former member, was all about becoming immortal to learn all the jutsu. Hidan is immortal in the first place. Sassori made himself practically immortal by turning into a human puppet. Akatsuki as villains are very philosophical. They are all about life and death. They have guiding principles. Interesting backstories. Not just some cartoonishly evil antogonists that the righteous hero will obviously prevail over.

2021-09-16 19:01:46 +0000 UTCFinally to the juicy parts. Hidan and Kakuzu really got me excited tbh. It's kinda like Sasori and Deidara, all of them had such unique abilities. I remember playing Warcraft 3 custom maps and selecting Hidan after seeing him in the show. The dude was OP in that mode :D
