Suigetsu is a savage man. Was really dope to see sasuke putting together a team but yet barely talking to his first teammate

2021-10-07 23:55:50 +0000 UTCDefinitely not an unpopular opinion with the Land of Waves arc. I think universally (generally speaking) people revere that arc as an absolute favourite. One of the best, if not the absolute best, first arcs in any anime ever. I love Suigetsu. He's such a good character lol. And that guy with the beanie that they ran into in this episode was actually one of the henchmen of Gato in the original arc. He didn't show up too often but he's another throw back to that arc. Also, now you get to hear Sasukes theme music lol. Twangy guitars, lowkey cowboy movie everytime he pops up. It cracks me up.

2021-10-07 19:20:55 +0000 UTCI freaking love every Sasuke theme. Can't wait to hear more of his battle theme, love that one especially! Suigetsu is almost like Sai to me. A character that is very confident in its own abilities, thus raising my expectations, but not someone I would warm up towards based on the first impression. He just lacks the certain extra trait that people from the Akatsuki would bring for instance, where you are immediately captivated. It's probably an unfair comparison to draw though, but that's how I feel about it.
