The reason he was immortal was because he was making sacrifices to Jashin. Without doing that he loses his immortality so he's dead. Also he would still need to eat lol.

This ep was so hype, even now it feels like... idk, maybe like WHAT KABUTO ALIVE? HE TRANSFORMED INTO OROCHIMARU? HE MASTERED REANIMATION JUTSU??? HE FORCED MADARA TO ACCEPT HIMSELF IN HIS FORCES WITH THE HELP OF AN UNREAL CHARACTER, WHAT IS THIS TRUMP CARD UNDER THE SLEEVES?
