It might be worth looking into the myths/histories briefly for some of the Servants, like Caster or Lancer, to better understand their characters in Zero. So long as you're not looking at a Fate wiki page, I don't think it will spoil anything for the series ;) I don't remember if it is stated in the anime but Caster has a skill called Mental Pollution that blocks anyone who doesn't have a similar level of crazy from understanding him. Which makes another serial killer about the only one who could be his master. Kirei and Gilgamesh are a fascinating duo - Gilgamesh is the ultra hedonist. Special mention for Kiritsugu casually blowing up a building to kill his enemy. Another fun episode - thanks!
