I honestly just came for my Beyblade hyperfixation and I’m glad I did. on another note, Yes! You can absolutely still get beyblades. The new series just started late last year, so you’d be getting into the new system early. Tournaments have never stopped, and there’s actually a massive community. that being said, if you plan to watch the series, it definitely depends what sort of anime you’re into. Metalfight is more shounen, but if you’re into tournament arc type stuff, Burst will probably be more your style. Either way, yes, the monsters are real. In the original series they’re called bit beasts. In metalfight, they’re bey spirits. In burst they’re avatars.
