I wanted to make the animation much longer but it took too long to render. I tried 60 fps because of this, the render took twice as long and are these 60 fps very noticeable or is it not worth wasting time and will return to 30?

It's possible to do both. Difference between 30 and 60 fps can be noticeable in animations. I've seen artists only do short loops in 60 fps because of render time, & stick to 30 fps for much longer animations. With enough skill in animating, long vids in 30 fps doesn't matter.
