First Sunday of January (And 2021) - Annual Update

Happy New Years Patrons!

The wild ride of 2020 comes to an end and 2021’s chapter begins. This post will be made public to all my patrons so that you all can be informed of the vision ahead! (I make these sort of updates every Sunday with the week’s work for the $5 and up patrons c:)

I’ll chuck in a TL;DR now cause I don’t know how long this update will be, but pretty much thanks for your support and I aim to continue kicking ass in 2021! However, if you want to keep reading on....

A new year! I spent the last couple hours looking at the first few photos I took this year back in April and got a bit sentimental about the year that’s been. My first SL home, first birthday party, first exploration into other sims and worlds, getting to meet new people and genuinely make some few friends along the way. The first photo I ever take of someone feels precious to me.

And then it saddens me to think about how much has fallen apart this year, both in the world but also in SL. And of course, we’re only human and we’re beings of conflict, and people like to tell me “SL has always been like this” and that may be true, but doesn’t make it any less sad.

Regardless! It would be a real shame to let that forget all the amazing friends I’ve met and made along the way, the fantastic creatives who work along side me and with me, and the incredible support over on social media but especially here on Patreon. So what next for CatScratch? What next for the Patreon. Well if you’ve made it this far this is certainly space and time for you to have your voice heard! Please let me know below what are things you’d like to see. Fetishes, scenes, locations, or people! Drop some Twitter or FA @s and I’ll make it my mission to reach out to them for a collab.

Over the Christmas break I’ve set up my first in world CS location, and that’s incredibly exciting, and I hope it will be a way we can meet up, or distribute patron rewards! Also working along side Rolei we hosted our New Years photo which has inspired us to look at other events in the future. Working title but we’ve been brainstorming an idea called “Photo Day”, imagine like a gacha event I suppose but you can meet and greet your favourite photographers and get a quick (and cheapish) commission photo with them! More on that later though.

The videos will still keep coming, I hope to work on a dance video next week, the Lalana SCP tit video is going live next week and I’ve already started working on the set for the sequel to that one. Also got a video commission collaboration with Syrus as well in the works that will be a visual delight I’m sure! UML will also be making a comeback this year and I will soon be working on that set again, now that we’re free from the association with Dogsmith I will be thinking about the long term visual story that will happen with CS and UML! I also get a lot of support and hype over Rosie as well so there will absolutely be some work and projects happening with her. I hope and aim to release at least 1 film a month overall, but wish to exceed that and get a few extra videos in here and there as well!

With the Patreon’s growth as well, if we ever hit over $100 a month in support, I will launch a Patron discord available for all as a reward to all members! I never really set it up initially thinking this might not ever take off, but looking at everything now I look forward to hopefully hanging out with you all over Discord! Belle and I have had a private discord for a few months now where we work on projects and that’s been inspiring to see how that could transfer over to a more semi public setting with you all in it as well!

So there, the first wall of text for the year, the first update for 2021 but certainly not the last.
