Somehow, this is a thing happening today. I've just boarded my first flight, the start to an 8 week journey around the world! I don't know whether it's because I'm scared of dying on this trip, or if I just feel like being a bit more personal, but I wanted to sit here and write just about how everything is going, and about to go down!

My first stop will be in New York State, Syracuse! (Excuse me awful American geography). I'm not sure if this is even a thought that'd cross any of your minds but "Is this where the Patreon money is going??" and lord no, each of your precious and generous contributions go into 'L', staffing, bills, rent, now physical prototypes and samples! You've all absolutely help fund our creativity, and let us continue to grow (and man am I so excited about 2023). No, this whole trip started from an incredible generous friend who I hosted here for a few weeks in NZ, who wanted to return the favour (and also catch up with an old friend!) so he's helped fund a large portion of this initial trip. Then, since I'm here... why not take the looooonggg way home right??
So, moved some things around, more incredible friends helped fund some legs, and here we are. Facing an 8 week trip around the world. Mind you this isn't my first rodeo with flight, being a first gen, long distance relationships etc, but a multi-legged journey like this? This is big. I'm so excited.
It all starts with a bang, rolling up to MFF next week! The biggest con I've been to is Eurofurence, but I hear things are even bigger here :D AAAAAAA plus, you know how it is, I have such a higher density of American friends, so I'm also sooo excited about seeing everyone (by the way, if you and I cross paths on this trip, you're totally welcome to DM me if you wanted to maybe catch up!).

HOPE TO SEE AS MANY OF YOU AS I CAN AT THE CON!! I'M BRINGING KIWI SNACKS COME GET SOMEEEEEEE
Anywho, more on that later hopefully (on Twitter probably), after MFF though, spoiler alert, here's the rest of the itinerary.
MFF -> Moncton -> Boston -> Dallas -> Medellin -> Stockholm ->
Amsterdam -> Munich -> Singapore -> Back home
Phew. Gonna be pretty crazy lmao. But mannnnnnnnnn.
Going to meet so many friends, but also friendly faces you'll know! Lalana, Bjorn her partner, Laven our little kobold techie, Jojo, who helped with social media for a while, aaaaaaa maybe Dreev who does a lot of voice work for us. Maybe Nebula! Voice of Lalana. Can I call this a business trip yet? lmfao
Quick check in on content, oh boy we got good stuff lined up, so don't worry, there won't be a slow down in content, in fact it might even be the reverse. But on that note...
As much as I hate to admit it, I think I hit bit of a slump the second half of this year. I think I didn't really see it because the source of the slumps wasn't inherently negative, I was just so busy with various disruptions, both positive and negative!
So what am I looking forward to next year? Peace, calm, and consistency haha
And despite that slump anyways, we still made content, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do, and probably hid the truth more, and added embers to burn out! But that tune's going to change. The content you see in the next couple of months is a shift in attitude, and a determination to create something special :D Nothing ground breaking, but just more focused, and I hope you guys enjoy it! I hope to feel rested and well enough after this trip to settle into the ability to tackle larger projects, because that's all I think about when I demise over my lack of energy.
- I want to pull the trigger on the "Meet the Girl" series: I want to settle down and film three episodes. I also want to finally work on an audio pipeline, either by working with other talented folk or working on my work weaknesses and building a library and workflow!
- Develop an initial build of the dating sim project: I just think it'd be a brain tickling project, both expanding what kind of content we can create for, and just a fun project! And also the determination and belief that maybe I can create something a little unique and special. And I also wish we could use Lalana's writing more! I think it's fantastic and something some of you would really enjoy.
- MERCH: Okay, maybe I'll try that again and try sound less shallow, cough, lmao. No but how cool, I just, again, think its neat working on these projects! I want to properly launch these dakis in the new year (come see me at MFF if you wanna check out the samples in person!), we have that 3D model print project quietly chugging away, and other opportunities. It's just fun to collab, create, and forge unique ways to be lewd lmao.
