Candles Update!
Added 2022-02-28 18:44:30 +0000 UTCSo some of you may remember that I made a post gauging interest in scented candles based on my characters. Well I'm happy to say that much progress has been made! The candles have been completed, the label art is amazing, and a few candles are being shipped to me personally to do the product photography.
The candles are based on Ophelia and the art for the label looks like this:
It was lovingly created by my good friend, Astril Woods. You can find their art here!
The candles are 11oz and measure at 3.25 in. top dia. x 3.125 in. bottom dia. x 3.5 in. H.
"Enter Ophelia's Apothecary and breathe in the scent of warm fig, crushed leaves, coconut milk, patchouli, oakmoss, and cedarwood with softlygaloshes' new line of scented candles."
Supplied by Laguna Candles (a black woman owned, family-run business). The candles are lovingly hand-poured and hand-crafted with a proprietary coconut wax blend. The candles are sustainable, ecologically-sound, and pesticide-free. No animal testing. Phthalates, parabens, and sulfate free. 100% unbleached cotton wicks.
There will be 96 candles available for sale for the first run. Based on how quickly they sell out, I will purchase a bigger batch next time!
After I get some lovely pictures and videos of the candles to promote the shop, I will set a time and date for when the shop opens. After that, it will be first come first serve!
They will be $38 per candle, with $5 domestic shipping within the US, and $25 for international shipping.
I'm so excited and the candles smell so good!!! I can't wait to finally hold the final product in my hand!

Beautiful art on the jar, not to mention a unique scent…it’s the novelty of it for sure, a one of kind gift or treat yourself item. I’m so stoked!
