DDX First Time XV1 P2 (WIP.1)
Added 2018-06-30 01:21:31 +0000 UTCI know I'll get better with practice but I feel like it's still looking good. I can't remember the saying, it's better to be finished than perfect. (kind of why I feel like I shouldn't do cleaner lines cause I feel like my personality in my artwork is with the sloppiness I create my pieces with.)

Yeah it's looking out to the dry desert of Byre with the canyons surrounding the Saloon they are resting at. *Arborbitae and Grimoire have this small attic room to themselves though there are other rooms below attached to the dining area for traveling parties.
2018-06-30 01:47:57 +0000 UTCI feel like it can be pretty boring with a blank background with just characters, it's like, where are they and what are they even doing there or your looking at certain comics and your like...the background is so bland and boring it doesn't seem like it's believable that it's so untouched and perfect or something like that.

2018-06-30 01:41:59 +0000 UTCSure, the focus is on the foreground - of course- but I've always appreciated the work and thought that goes into the detailed background, all the props, the pictures on the wall. It would have been easier and quicker to just put a blank wall or draped curtains behind the scene. So thanks for that extra work.
