Naruto: Copy System#667+668: Overwhelming Fujitora, Wounded by Shin Uzumaki?

"Gravity Blade: Raging Tiger!"

Fujitora struck first. Facing Shin, whose power was the stuff of legends, he couldn't afford to be careless for even a second.

He channeled immense gravity into his blade and unleashed a devastating horizontal slash. The wave of force was designed to crush and pulverize everything in its path.

"Shinra Tensei!"

Shin simply watched the wave of gravity approach and repelled it with Shinra Tensei. Not even the force of gravity could breach his defense.

Fujitora’s heart sank. He could sense that his attack hadn't fazed Shin in the slightest. The ease with which his opponent had deflected it was a terrible sign.

"Hell's Journey!"

With his Gravity Blade proving useless, Fujitora shifted his focus, applying immense gravitational force to the ground itself. The technique was powerful enough to pin a person to the earth, rendering them immobile, or even carve a massive crater.

And yet, even as a great hole was torn in the earth, Shin remained completely untouched, not even budging an inch.

“This level of force is still too weak...” Shin said flatly.

Such an attack couldn't even begin to shake him, let alone damage the hem of his clothes. He looked at Fujitora with an utterly unimpressed gaze.

—————

"They're not even in the same league. Shin-sama is incredible," Neptune murmured, watching from a safe distance.

Of course, Neptune kept his distance. His own strength was nothing compared to theirs—getting any closer would be suicide. Even without taking a direct hit, the shockwaves from a battle between Shin and Fujitora would be enough to turn him into paste.

"It's a good thing this fight isn't happening in the palace. The consequences would have been unimaginable."

Neptune imagined the devastation if they had fought in his royal palace and shuddered. The entire kingdom might have been torn apart. This world truly belonged to the powerhouses at the top, and his Ryugu Kingdom lacked even a single one.

Fortunately, he had hitched his wagon to a star. From now on, he just needed to stick close to Shin, and everything would be fine.

"Fujitora, is this really the best you can do??" Shin asked, letting out a bored yawn.

"Your strength is even greater than the legends claim," Fujitora said, his tone heavy with caution.

He had always thought the stories about Shin were exaggerated, but now he realized he had been wrong.

If anything, the rumors had underestimated him.

Covering his cane-sword with Armament Haki, he charged. Fujitora, who had been standing far away, appeared before Shin in an instant, bringing his blade down with blinding speed. To an ordinary person, he would have been a blur, the slash landing before they could even register his presence.

But to Shin, it was agonizingly slow. He simply reached out and caught the descending blade with his bare hand.

"He didn't use Armament Haki?" Fujitora's brow furrowed in disbelief.

Though he was blind, Fujitora's senses were sharp. He knew Shin hadn't used Armament Haki to catch his sword.

To catch his blade bare-handed... it was beyond anything he could have imagined. Fujitora was certain that not even Whitebeard could have done it—not even with Armament Haki.

—————

“He blocked an Admiral’s slash with his bare hands… Just how strong is he?” Nami couldn't help but say.

Nami was no longer the rookie she had once been. Back then, she knew nothing. Now, she understood exactly what an Admiral was—a force of nature capable of destroying an island. Even with her own increased strength, she knew she wouldn't stand a chance against an Admiral—

—Yet here, the roles were reversed. Before Shin, even an Admiral seemed as weak as an infant. It was almost impossible to comprehend.

“No one knows how strong Shin really is,” Olvia said.

Even after all this time with him, Olvia still couldn't fathom the true depths of his power. It had probably surpassed her wildest imagination. That wasn't an exaggeration.

"Surrender and leave now, and you might still have a chance. Don't make this any uglier than it needs to be," Shin said, looking down at Fujitora.

"Gravity Slash!"

Fujitora had no intention of retreating. The muscles in his arm bulged, his robes whipping around him as an invisible pressure emanated from his body, so powerful it could suffocate lesser beings.

This wasn't Conqueror's Haki—Fujitora didn't possess it. It was the pure, intimidating aura of a true powerhouse.

Conqueror's Haki was exceptionally rare. Even among the strongest on the seas, not everyone possessed it. The legendary pirate Golden Lion Shiki, for example, didn't have it, but he was still a formidable force.

"Light Speed Kick!"

Shin's leg suddenly transformed into a whip of golden light, lashing out and striking Fujitora's body.

Even with an Admiral's physique, he couldn't withstand the blow.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The ground shook. Fujitora was sent flying like a rubber ball, crashing through every obstacle in his path.

"Cough, cough."

Fujitora clutched his broken ribs, coughing up blood. The impact had rattled his internal organs, leaving him severely injured.

"Oh? You can't get up already? To be honest, you're not nearly as durable as Akainu," Shin said with a smile, walking slowly towards him.

Fujitora really couldn't take a hit like Akainu. That man was something else—willing to take one of Whitebeard's punches to the face. Then again, maybe Akainu just had a thick skin.

Fujitora pushed himself up, his cane-sword still clutched tightly in his hand. He was a swordsman, a Great Swordsman. He would never let go of his blade.

"Gravity Slash!"

Ignoring the searing pain, he swung his sword at Shin again. Whatever else you could say about Fujitora, the man had guts. Even knowing he was completely outmatched, he still attacked without hesitation.

But as the blade neared Shin, it stopped dead in its tracks, held back by an invisible force. A repulsive field surrounded Shin, a barrier that no one could break.

"A useless attack."

Shin lifted his leg again and kicked Fujitora, sending him flying once more. Fujitora coughed up another mouthful of blood. Though there were no visible wounds, his injuries were severe. He didn't know how many bones were broken, but even an Admiral's body would take a long time to recover from this.

"Give up. You're no match for me."

Shin said calmly, looking at Fujitora, who was still trying to get up from the ground.

"It's been a long time since I've been this badly injured," Fujitora said, using his cane-sword to prop himself up.

He remembered when he was younger, he had sustained many injuries. The scars on his face were from that time. But since reaching the pinnacle of his strength, he had never been wounded. This was the first time.

"I have my convictions. Even if I'm not a match for you, unless I've lost every last ounce of strength and can no longer stand, I will not stop fighting."

Fujitora's expression was more serious than ever.

"Well, you've earned my respect," Shin said, looking at Fujitora. He had no ill will towards the man. If he did, he would have killed him already. For Shin, killing Fujitora was a simple matter of lifting a finger.

"Thank you," Fujitora said, a hint of surprise on his face.

Even if he died here today, Fujitora would have no regrets. Supporting his grievously injured body, he rushed towards Shin.

—————

“Hancock, do you think Shin will kill Fujitora?” Robin asked.

“Based on what I know of Shin, he probably won’t.” Hancock knew Shin incredibly well—she was one of the few who truly understood him.

And she was right. Shin had no intention of killing Fujitora. The charging Admiral was sent flying by a Shinra Tensei and fell into unconsciousness.

"It's over."

Shin turned and walked back to Hancock and the others. The entire fight, excluding the conversation, had been over in a flash. The fact that he hadn't killed Fujitora in an instant was already a sign of respect.

“Shin-sama, Admiral Fujitora isn’t dead, is he?”

Neptune rushed over from the distance, his eyes filled with anxiety as he asked Shin.

Neptune was extremely nervous, and for a simple reason: Fujitora could not die here.

If Fujitora died, it wouldn't matter to Shin, but for Neptune, the consequences would be catastrophic. The Marines might not risk crossing Shin, but they'd have no problem taking it out on him.

“Relax, he’s not dead yet,” Shin said to the incredibly tense Neptune.

"He's not dead? That's good..." Neptune finally breathed a sigh of relief.

If Fujitora had truly died here, he wouldn't know how to explain it. Even with Shin's protection, Fish-Man Island would likely suffer. Though Shin was protecting this place, he couldn't stay here forever.

"Alright, Neptune, I have a task for you. Take care of Fujitora."

Shin had no interest in dealing with Fujitora. He'd leave that to Neptune.

“Of course.” Neptune wouldn't refuse. He couldn't refuse.

If Shin had handled it, Neptune would have been even more worried. Now that he was in charge, Neptune felt a sense of relief.

Shin didn't know how Neptune dealt with Fujitora, nor did he care.

—————

A few days later, Fujitora left, taken away by his subordinates to recuperate. His injuries were severe and required proper treatment. There was no one on Fish-Man Island who could treat him.

At this time, Marine Headquarters was in the New World. After Akainu took over, he had moved the headquarters to the former G-1 branch.

"Fleet Admiral Akainu, Admiral Fujitora has been seriously injured."

Upon his return, someone immediately reported to Akainu, who frowned upon hearing the news.

Though his relationship with Fujitora was not good, now that he had been injured, Akainu had to go see him, regardless of their differences.

“Alright, I know. I’ll go see him,” Akainu said to the Marine soldier.

Then Akainu stood up, preparing to check on Fujitora's condition and find out who was responsible.

Though he hadn't seen Fujitora yet, Akainu already had a guess. He could probably figure out who had injured him. After all, there weren't many people in the world capable of seriously injuring an Admiral.

While his relationship with Fujitora was poor, Akainu acknowledged his strength. If he didn't, Fujitora would have never become an Admiral.

Arriving at the hospital, Akainu saw the injured Fujitora lying in bed. The man's injuries were indeed severe.

“Wounded by Shin Uzumaki?” Akainu asked, looking at Fujitora.

Fujitora had known Akainu was coming. Hearing his question, he nodded.

“I was no match for him,” Fujitora admitted freely.

There was nothing to be ashamed of—

The other party was simply stronger. Moreover, the gap between their strengths was not just a little bit—it was enormous. There was no reason for Fujitora not to admit it.

"Why did you clash with Shin Uzumaki?" Akainu thought of his own recent encounter with Shin.

At that time, Akainu had restrained himself and avoided a conflict. He hadn't expected Fujitora to do the opposite.

Now that Fujitora was seriously injured, it would be a while before he recovered. This was not good for Akainu's upcoming plans. He had intended to use Fujitora, but now that he was out of commission...

"We met, so we clashed," Fujitora said calmly.

One was a Marine, the other a pirate. Of course they would clash when they met. Was there even a need to ask?

“In the future, if you encounter Shin Uzumaki, avoid conflict with him for now. There's no point. You'll only be the one who gets hurt,” Akainu said to Fujitora.

It was hard to believe these words came from Akainu's mouth. It was so out of character that even Fujitora looked at him with surprise.

Even Fujitora was surprised by Akainu’s words. He was telling him to avoid conflict with Shin Uzumaki in the future? Was this really the extremist Akainu?

What Fujitora didn't know was that Akainu had many things to consider now, especially the Five Elders above him. This was also, in a way, the Five Elders' intention.
