"I can't believe I landed in such a run-down place."
Shin stepped out of the spatial gate and surveyed his surroundings. He seemed to be in a wasteland, with dilapidated Japanese-style houses in the distance. There wasn't a living soul in sight—the area was completely desolate, making it impossible for Shin to identify which world he was in.
"Maybe I should check on the System Space first," Shin muttered to himself.
He was quite worried about the situation inside. Although he didn't think Kushina and the others would start a fight with Hancock, you could never be too sure. What if they really did??
With that thought, Shin entered the System Space. To his surprise, what he saw upon entering was the complete opposite of what he had feared.
Not only was there no conflict, but the atmosphere was so harmonious it left him momentarily baffled.
"HEY! YOU'VE GOT SOME NERVE SHOWING YOUR FACE AGAIN! GET OVER HERE SO I CAN SMASH YOUR FACE IN!"
Kushina shot to her feet, activating her Six Paths Sage Mode. The ends of her hair floated in the air as she clenched her fists and glared at Shin.
"Ahaha, Kushina, you've got to be joking, right? You're not actually going to attack me, are you?"
Shin took a few steps back, chuckling nervously and contemplating a quick escape.
“Just try me. See if I don't smash you,” Kushina said, watching him retreat.
“Alright, Kushina, that’s enough. Stop trying to scare him. If you frighten him away for good, you’ll be the one crying later.”
Mikoto gently chided her, and Kushina finally snorted and lowered her fists.
Of course, Shin was subjected to a thorough verbal assault afterward, but seeing that their relationships were harmonious and no fights had broken out, he breathed a sigh of relief.
This was good enough. He couldn't ask for more, as long as they didn't come to blows.
—————
Leaving the System Space, Shin could now explore this new world with peace of mind.
Everything about this world was a mystery waiting to be unraveled, and Shin felt a flicker of anticipation for what lay ahead.
"Looks like there are people over there."
Shin activated his Nine-Tomoe Sharingan—his vision extending for a hundred kilometers, allowing him to see into the far distance.
Using Yomotsu Hirasaka, he instantly appeared dozens of kilometers away, his gaze falling upon several figures wielding weapons.
"Not human?"
Sensing a strange power, Shin was slightly surprised. The energy felt more like that of a Soul—what one would call a ghost.
"Who the hell are you, kid?"
The leader of the group, upon seeing Shin, questioned him arrogantly, a murderous glint in his eyes.
"You've got quite a temper," Shin remarked with a raised eyebrow.
"Boss, calm down! Look at his clothes—he's not just anyone! He could be a Soul Reaper! We're no match for him, let's get out of here!"
Just as the leader was about to act, his underlings grabbed him.
"Soul Reaper?"
Hearing their words and sensing the unique energy they possessed, Shin had a good idea of which world he was in.
“Is this the Soul Society?” Shin asked the souls.
"Lord Soul Reaper, this is the Rukongai of the Soul Society. Don't you know?"
The leader, his previous arrogance gone, now looked at Shin with utmost respect.
Seeing that they had mistaken him for a Soul Reaper, Shin didn't give them any trouble. Since this was the Rukongai, he wouldn't be able to gather much information here.
The Soul Society was where Soul Reapers and souls resided in the World of Bleach.
The Soul Reapers and nobles lived in the Seireitei at its center, while the surrounding areas where other souls lived were called the Rukongai.
The Seireitei was the heart of the Soul Society. The areas of the Rukongai closer to it were decent, but the outer regions were another story.
The Rukongai was divided into eighty districts in each of the four cardinal directions. Shin was currently in the 80th district of the East Rukongai, an area not mentioned in the original story.
If it were the 80th North District, Shin would have known it—that was the Zaraki district, Kenpachi Zaraki's home.
While this 80th East District might not be as bad as the Zaraki district, it wasn't much better.
Murder and robbery were rampant. Here, killing and arson were a part of daily life. Only the ruthless could survive.
"I've really landed in a great place this time."
Shin couldn't help but sigh. This was a far cry from his arrival in the One Piece world.
Back then, he had appeared on Amazon Lily, which was at least a decent place.
"But being in the Rukongai is better. If I had suddenly appeared in the Seireitei, I'd probably be a public enemy to all Soul Reapers."
Anyone who entered the Soul Society without a Soul Reaper's guidance was labeled an intruder, or "Ryoka." Shin was a Ryoka, lacking any official status.
Just like in the original story, when Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends broke into the Soul Society to save Rukia, they were considered intruders.
"I'm not a pure soul like the Soul Reapers and spirits here—I still have my body. I hope they don't mistake me for a Quincy."
Shin, who was about to head to the Seireitei, stopped in his tracks. Ordinary people couldn't see souls, but with his Nine-Tomoe Rinne-Tenseigan and the extreme spiritual power of his Yin Release, he could see them clearly.
People with high natural spiritual power could see souls.
Shin wasn't worried about not being able to see Soul Reapers, but he was worried about them seeing that he had a physical body.
A living person in the Soul Society, the realm of souls—the Gotei 13 of the Seireitei would probably not let him go.
"I haven't figured out the power levels of the Bleach world yet... Better not start a fight."
In the One Piece world, Shin could act without restraint, but in the world of Bleach, he had to be careful.
The Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto—that old man was too powerful. Though Shin wasn't sure he'd lose to him, he didn't want to fight him either.
When Ryūjin Jakka was released, Zanka no Tachi could generate temperatures equivalent to the sun's core. Even with his durability, he would likely be vaporized by the intense heat.
Shin was immortal, just like Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, and couldn't be killed. But he had no desire to test the power of Zanka no Tachi.
"I could Copy old man Yamamoto's Ryūjin Jakka."
Thinking of that terrifying fire-type Zanpakutō, Shin's heart burned with desire. Compared to Zanka no Tachi, the Devil Fruits of the One Piece world were nothing.
But now was not the time to copy it. Shin didn't plan on going to the Seireitei yet. He wanted to study the Reishi of this world first.
The atmosphere was filled with Reishi (Spirit Particles), but this was a remote area, so the concentration was low.
Yin Release represented the limit of spiritual power. Though Shin had never absorbed Reishi, his soul was incredibly powerful. He wondered how much his strength would increase after absorbing Reishi and converting it into Reiatsu.
In the One Piece world, though he had obtained some Devil Fruit abilities, his overall strength hadn't increased much.
The world of Bleach should give his power a significant boost!

Just as Shin was about to leave, he suddenly sensed something and froze.
"You've hidden yourself well, but I still found you. Come out. Don't make me drag you out."
Shin glanced to the side.
"How did you find me?"
A woman wearing a white captain's haori walked out from a short distance away, her indifferent eyes fixed on Shin, her body exuding a bloody aura.
She held a Zanpakutō, but its curve was noticeably more pronounced than other Zanpakutō.
"Unohana Retsu?"
Shin didn't answer her question, instead asking about her identity.
The captain of the Fourth Division of the Gotei 13. But she was completely different from the gentle and peaceful Fourth Division captain Shin knew. Even from a distance, Shin could feel the killing intent and bloodlust emanating from her.
"A human who has broken into the Soul Society... you know me?" Unohana Retsu's body erupted with astonishing killing intent, her Reiatsu alone destroying everything in the vicinity.
"<Amenominaka.>"
A flicker in Shin's eyes, and he transported her to another dimension. The Reiatsu she was unleashing could attract other captains.
“Are you the captain of the Eleventh Division?”
Looking at the murderous Unohana, who was completely different from the one he knew, Shin couldn't help but ask.
Could this be before she became the captain of the Fourth Division, when she was still Unohana Yachiru, the captain of the Eleventh Division?
The Gotei 13 each had their own duties. The Fourth Division was the medical squad, while the Eleventh Division was the combat squad.
Before she became the gentle Unohana Retsu, she was the greatest villain in the history of the Soul Society, the first Kenpachi, and the founder of the Eleventh Division's philosophy.
Unohana Retsu was undoubtedly one of the strongest fighters in the entire Soul Society. Excluding the members of the Zero Division, only the Captain-Commander could suppress her now.
"For a human, you know a lot about the Soul Society." Unohana Retsu's expression was extremely cold.
'What timeline did I cross into?'
Shin ignored Unohana and clutched his head, feigning a headache.
If Unohana Retsu was still the captain of the Eleventh Division, then it had to be at least a few hundred years before the start of the story.
Unohana Retsu was the first Kenpachi, and Kenpachi Zaraki was the eleventh. Each captain of the Eleventh Division was a Kenpachi.
After ten more changes in captains, the start of the story wouldn't be too far off.
Though the captains of the combat squad died quickly, who knew how long it would be before Kenpachi Zaraki became captain and the story began.
'Couldn't you have dropped me at the start?' Shin complained to the System.
“ARE YOU IGNORING ME?” Unohana was extremely irritable. She drew her blade and slashed at Shin without any hesitation.
Her body released a killing intent honed from mountains of corpses and seas of blood, a terrifying Reiatsu sweeping across the entire ice world of Amenominaka.
CLANG!!!
"Honestly, we have no quarrel. Why resort to this? And how did you find me?"
Shin didn't believe she had just happened to be there. She must have found him and then rushed over.
When he first arrived in the world of Bleach, Shin had specifically scouted the area but hadn't found Unohana. So she must have come later.
Unohana didn't answer Shin's question, slashing at him again and again without any mercy.
Of course, since they had no relationship, there was no need for mercy.
Shin held the Shodai Kitetsu, easily parrying her strikes. As a Supreme Grade Sword—it had no problem clashing with a Zanpakutō.
Moreover, Unohana hadn't even released her Shikai, let alone her Bankai.
"You've got serious skill, Makes sense for someone bold enough to invade the Soul Society."
Unohana's eyes were filled with a strong battle intent. The Unohana of this time wasn't the gentle captain of the medical squad—she was a vicious villain, infamous throughout the Soul Society.
“Looks like we have to fight. I can’t guarantee your safety. Use your Bankai. Let me see the power of a Zanpakutō.”
Shin instantly appeared behind Unohana, and with a single-handed swing of his blade, a blindingly fast slash sent her flying, her blood staining her white haori red as it splattered across the ice.
Shin's expression was calm. Even facing a beautiful woman like Unohana, he showed no mercy.
A massive gash stretched across Unohana's back, from her neck all the way down to her waist.
Despite such a severe injury, Unohana's expression didn't change, as if she wasn't hurt at all. She stood up and stared at Shin.
How long had it been? How long since she'd last been wounded? Unohana was growing more and more excited.
Yes, Unohana's personality was that of a madwoman. Battle maniacs were basically all crazy.
Looking at the blood on the ice, Shin found himself wanting to complain—aren't Soul Reapers just souls? How can they bleed?
He decided to just roll with it. No point getting hung up on this world's rules. Shin easily parried all of Unohana's sword techniques.
Unohana prided herself on having mastered all schools and styles of swordsmanship, which was why she was also called Unohana Yachiru.
Her swordsmanship was extremely strong. In this aspect, even that old man Yamamoto might not be able to defeat her.
Well, only in terms of sword technique. In terms of overall strength, old man Yamamoto was definitely stronger.
In fact, old man Yamamoto could be considered one of the ceiling-level powers of the Bleach world.
Both major villains—Aizen and Yhwach—were very wary of him.
Looking across the entire Bleach world, including the protagonist with his plot armor, old man Yamamoto's combat strength would at least rank in the top five.
The title of "Strongest Soul Reaper" was not just for show.
It seemed he had gotten sidetracked. Unohana's combat strength was very strong, but in front of Shin, her swordsmanship was still not enough.
Her technique was indeed slightly superior to Shin's—after all, Unohana had studied the way of the sword for hundreds of years—but her raw power was lacking.
Zzzzzzzzzzz!
Another wound appeared on Unohana's body, but her aura grew stronger.
"Not bad. I've learned a lot from you." Shin couldn't help but say to Unohana.
Unohana's sword style had already been copied by Shin.
In terms of swordsmanship, Unohana was indeed strong. Whether these techniques were useful to Shin or not, he would copy them first.
This wasn't a copy made with a System Card—it was done using his own eyes' replication ability.
Such techniques could be easily copied with the Nine-Tomoe Rinne-Tenseigan.
“You’re strong...”
Unohana said seriously. At this moment, Shin had earned Unohana's recognition. Only those stronger than her could earn her recognition.
“You too.” Shin was telling the truth—Unohana was not weak.
And this wasn't even her full strength. Unohana had yet to use her Zanpakutō's Shikai and Bankai.
Unohana's Shikai, Minazuki, was for healing, but her Bankai was powerful, capable of dissolving anything it cut into blood.
