Japan is currently being hit by one of the most powerful typhoons on record.🌀
Due to Japan's geographical location, we are quite accustomed to typhoons passing through, but this year, I feel like there have been more floods than usual. I'm writing this diary on a bus driving through torrential rain, and I’m honestly afraid it might flood.
Japan is often said to be a country with a lot of natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, and typhoons, but living here, I don't really feel that way. However, what might feel like a minor earthquake to us can be terrifying for people from other countries, and it's said that hotel cancellations often follow.
I just hope that this typhoon causes as little damage as possible.
I'm truly grateful that our work can be done indoors, and I can't help but show respect for those who work to maintain the infrastructure!
