You call out to Myla and tell her to calm down, you don't even know who this guy is.
"Ah, sorry about that." The man chuckles. "Guess that was rude of me, eh? The name's Konic and I control this road."
"You're so full of shit!" Myla snaps back at him, still ready to attack at any moment. "Don't listen to this bastard! He's nobody, he doesn't control anything around here!"
"And you can barely control yourself, ya little bitch!" Konic seemed to lose his composure there for a moment. "Er... Anyway. The offer still stands. So if you-"
With a yell, Myla finally goes for it and slashes at the man. He just barely manages to dodge her and pulls out an axe. Looks like Myla's made her decision here.
"Tch. Ya always did have a temper, little pup." Konic swears a bit under his breath. "Fine then, we'll have it your way! Stay out of this, 'venturer. Or at the very least, don't be stupid enough to side with her."
