I don't know what's wrong with me.

By the time I reach Yuna's room, I already know something's off.

The ground is trembling under my boots, not from footsteps this time—but from a constant, rhythmic pulse. Like a heartbeat. A massive one.

"Okay," I mutter, staring up at her door, "definitely not a normal kind of quiet."

The wooden threshold stretches high above me. I duck down and slip under it, feeling the warmth in the air the moment I step through. It's... intense. The temperature has risen several degrees, easy. I can feel the hum of energy, sharp and restless, prickling at my skin.

"Yuna?" I call out softly, stepping forward.

The floor vibrates. I look up—and there she is.

Standing near the far end of the room, her back turned to me. She was no longer in her black training garments, no to my surprise she was almost bare naked wearing only a white bra and underwear. Her skin glows faintly with blue light and glistened with sweat.

"What the hell...?" I whisper.

She's standing perfectly still, yet the air is moving around her. Like the whole room's caught in her energy field. Her hair shifts with invisible wind, the faint scent of sweat and heat hanging heavy.

And then, suddenly, she starts moving—unsteady, with shaky footsteps she made her way to her bed, and like her body lost all of its energy she fell to her bed back first, her massive form shaking the ground ever so slightly.

That's when I realize that this private moment was about to get even more private.

"Hey!" I shout, waving my arms even though she obviously can't see me from this distance. "Yuna! You alright?"

No response.

Her breathing gets faster, and the blue glow intensifies. She starts pulling at the rest of her clothes, her bra and underwear throwing them off in frustration—probably trying to cool herself down, yea that was definitely it.

I was backing away, I knew what this was, and I knew that it wasn't right eavesdropping on a friend who didn't even know I was there.

I was nearing the door ready to put all of this behind me like a dream, until a dark shadow fell on me.

"Huh?" I said as I turned my head and looked up to see a massive piece of fabric soaring through the air like a parachute—straight toward me.

"Oh, come on—"

I dive to the side, but it's too late.

White fabric crashes down, enveloping me in instant darkness. The world smells faintly like clean cotton and warmth. I'm stuck under the heavy folds, unable to move.

My head is spinning. I can barely see straight.

The aura keeps flaring, bursting outward in waves that rattle the walls. I get on both of my knees, gripping the edge of the bed to steady myself. My breath comes out ragged. As my fingers make their way down to privates.
