• Trailer for 'Simple Favor' sequel 'Another Simple Favor' has been released starring Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick.

Plot: Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman. Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.

The trailer doesn't showed any sexual content which is a bit disappointing.

• Amy Adams will play Amanda in the new 10-episode Apple TV+ series.

  

The "Cape Fear" series on Apple TV+, starring Amy Adams, is based on John D. MacDonald’s novel "The Executioners" and the 1962 and 1991 films.

Plot: The "Cape Fear" series centers on Amanda and Steve Bowden, a happily married couple and attorneys, whose lives are upended when Max Cady, a notorious killer from their past, is released from prison. Cady, portrayed by Javier Bardem, seeks revenge, creating a tense, Hitchcockian thriller. The series also examines America’s fascination with true crime in the 21st century, adding a modern layer to the classic story.

It seems likely that the series will feature themes of sexual violence, given the source material involves a convicted rapist, Max Cady, seeking revenge.

Production is underway, with a 2026 release planned, produced by Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg, and Patrick Wilson also cast.
