arm update
Added 2022-05-12 01:03:27 +0000 UTCGot done with the ct scan and specialist consultation. Not good. What looked not-so-bad in the initial xrays was not so good in 3d. Radial head is wrecked. Tendons shredded. It will require reconstructive surgery and it will never be the same. Then a long time of physical therapy to make it usable again.
I am not in any pain fortunately but my wrist has been immobilized in a position where i cannot type with it. I'm trying to figure out some sort of hardware/handheld bluetooth keyboard device, so i can get back to work. I can do my shit if i have some way to push keys with my busted hand. All suggestions are welcome.

I wish I could offer more here, as many people have hit on a few good points, but here are a couple of suggestions I have heard on top of those: "Air-Tapping" a single hand keyboard/mouse piece you can work with (it is an item listed on Amazon): https://www.amazon.com/TAPWITHUS-Tap-Strap-Wearable-Controller/dp/B07YCWNK3H/ref=asc_df_B07YCWNK3H/?tag=&linkCode=df0&hvadid=385286500280&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1101401890083366860&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9060440&hvtargid=pla-833123142449&ref=&adgrpid=77282054583&th=1 you could also consider a mouse with multiple buttons on it that allows for mapping of keys and having additional mapping with alt and shift (it may be a bit complex, but it does reduce space needed). A good list can be found here: https://dotesports.com/news/best-12-button-gaming-mouse
2022-05-12 05:54:47 +0000 UTCMicrosoft also announced some “adaptive accessories” that are wireless. But they’re still going through FCC testing. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/b/microsoft-adaptive-accessories

2022-05-12 01:22:30 +0000 UTCThere’s the adaptive controller from Microsoft. If you can use macros linked to buttons, that could work. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/accessories/controllers/xbox-adaptive-controller

2022-05-12 01:20:55 +0000 UTCWhen you say hand held do you mean like a remote with key board buttons. Or a wireless keyboard with a touchpad.

2022-05-12 01:12:23 +0000 UTCVoice software? Should be simple to activate a few keys with your voice. Of course you are probably looking at moving from tablet drawing back to desktop drawing. Sorry to hear you have a long road to recovery.

2022-05-12 01:12:18 +0000 UTCI may need a bit more info as to the immobility of the left hand, but there is a product known as the Azeron Keyboard. You can program a number of keys on it so extention of fingers lows for more keys closer to the fingers.
