Patreon Pledge Issues
Added 2018-08-02 14:27:15 +0000 UTCThere's been a massive issue with Patreon over the last 24 hours. People have lost anywhere from 20% to 50% of their income. The issue is that banks are rejecting Patreon charges due to them looking fraudulent, since they've changed the bank to a bank in England rather than America. All you have to do is call your bank and tell them that it's not fraudulent. Sorry about this! Please let me know if you could solve it!

I had that problem last month but I thought it was because my previous card expired. It went through this month but I had no idea there was an issue! 😱

2018-08-02 18:10:51 +0000 UTCI changed my payment method to PayPal yesterday then it seemed to fix itself. But I also had to verify with my bank that I was the one who authorized the payment just a few moments ago so mine seems to be all good now.

2018-08-02 15:15:55 +0000 UTCI just divert to the funds to Patrein by way of PayPal. So technically my bank is paying PayPal and PayPal pays Patreon. And as PayPal doesn't do verifications it goes through smoothly.

2018-08-02 15:14:19 +0000 UTCI got a call from my bank last week, all they had to do was confirm it. Patreon tried a preapproval and charged $1 and $0 to make sure it would work.
