Jon Snow executed Janos Slynt not because he is coward and not because he didn't want to follow an order, but because Stannis had asked his death from Jon; he was the person that led the execution of his nephews (19).

2023-10-27 22:50:42 +0000 UTCI feel this it is odd when you think about it. Possibly because one did come off as a good guy. Both a bit shocking!

2023-10-25 23:03:24 +0000 UTCI always find it interesting how people respond to the contrasting episodes of Dany executing someone and then Jon executing someone. Dany executed a man that murdered someone awaiting trial and most viewers seem to view it negatively. Jon executed a man that disobeyed an order and most viewers cheer it. The difference might be that the young man Dany executed was a “good” guy while the man Jon executed was “bad.” But that’s inserting my own interpretation. It would be interesting to hear them discuss why they cheered one and thought it was good strong leadership but not the other.
