One of the REALEST characters in One Piece. Bon Clay is the MVP for sure. Luffy would’ve died so many times if it weren’t for him. Whether he lived or died, he is a Strawhat for sure. I remember the first time I saw this episode. Had my crying like a baby. We needed him to make that play though. As much as it sucked, no way we would’ve gotten out w/o that play from Bon-chan. Great reaction fellas. Can’t wait for the reactions to the next arc. It only gets better from here.

It was after this episode that I said I will not accept any Bentham Bon Clay slander in this household. I can understand not liking him when he was in Baroque Works, but his resume even when he was running with Crocodile was immaculate when it came to what he would do for friendship and his loved ones. I actually prefer his the subs I saw when Magellan asked if he had any last words: "Satisfaction!"
