He just wanted to scare him or in worst case, to take one of his eye as repayment for his. Their dragons just went out of control and they both tried in vain to make them obey, untill you know what happened. I havn't read any book or anything, but my theory is that Lucerys is still alive, I may very well be wrong but IDC I'm just dropping this here.

So he has been gradually extending his influence thought the kingdom and around Allicent. He current has her entire staff as his loyal supporters. Shes becoming more afraid of him. Because though he’s showing he’s loyal to her she’s beginning to feel he’s beyond her control. The question about Rhaenyras kids. So she had three sons with Harwin Strong the former commander of the city watch. That’s Luke, Jace And Little Joff. She also has three kids with Daemon now, Viserys, Aegon & Visenya. So 6 in total but down to 5 with Luke passing last season.
