More Blabbin 'Bout Batman: The Animated Series is Coming Friday, November 11th!

After having so much fun with the first season, we can't wait to launch season two of Blabbin 'Bout Batman: The Animated Series this Friday, November 11th! This podcast miniseries covers eight of our (additional) favorite episodes of Batman: The Animated Series, spanning all three eras of this legendary animated take on The Caped Crusader. And if you're a patron on the $5 level or higher, you'll get to listen to each episode as soon as it goes live every Friday through the very end of 2022.

If you're new to the Talking Simpsons Network Patreon and sign up at the $5 level or higher today, you'll also get to hear 100+ bonus episodes of our past miniseries! That includes Talking Critic, Talking Mission Hill, season one of Blabbin 'Bout Batman, and our ongoing monthly miniseries, Talking Futurama and TalKing of the Hill.

Wonder which episodes we'll be covering on Blabbin 'Bout Batman Season Two? Gaze at the information below and wonder no more! And try not to be too distracted by Nina Matsumoto's custom promotional art at the top of this post.

It's Never Too Late [11/11/22]

Batman plays the guardian angel to a crime boss grappling with his dark past in this gritty tale that's part classic noir, part It's A Wonderful Life.

The Clock King [11/18/22]

At long last, we meet the most correct Batman foe: an ordinary man who becomes a punctuality obsessed supervillain, all thanks to some guy who made him late.

Perchance to Dream [11/25/22]

Bruce wakes up and finds himself in a reality where his parents aren't dead and Batman doesn't exist! Is it all the work of The Mad Hatter? Or is the series pivoting away from superheroes and towards thrilling tales of philanthropic foundation management?

Harley and Ivy [12/2/22]

Long before Googling "Harley and Ivy" could get you fired, this episode smashed this villainous odd couple together—with hilarious results.

Read My Lips [12/9/22]

We finally meet Scarface: the Batman villain who taught us the best way to get over confidence issues is to channel a murderous separate personality through a hideous ventriloquial figure.

Harlequinade [12/16/22]

When The Joker threatens to blow up most of Gotham with a massive bomb, Batman finds an unlikely friend in Harley Quinn. Will she help the Caped Crusader save the day, or will her puddin's manipulative ways bring her back to the side of evil?

Over the Edge [12/23/22]

Barbara Gordon is dead! But since this is a kids' cartoon, not really. Though the premise still makes for an incredibly dark episode, especially for the world of Kids' WB Saturday morning programming.

Legends of the Dark Knight [12/30/22]

Season two of Blabbin 'Bout Batman comes to an end with this fan-favorite episode that explores three distinct eras of Batman! It's a great example of how each interpretation of The Dark Knight has value, and also how we all once thought Frank Miller was extremely cool.

So if you're interested and still not a patron, sign up today and get ready for eight solid weeks of Patreon-exclusive podcasts! We'll see you on November 11th—same bat time, same bat channel (this one).

Honestly same. I’m sure the Feats of Clay episodes are well covered territory, but I needed an excuse to watch that gorgeous Akira-esque ending again.

Excellent spread of episodes! Really glad to see Perchance to Dream here.

Dayken

Damn, I was hoping Feats of Clay would make the cut but otherwise great selection!

PurpleComet

Love the artwork, guys! 😁

To Boldy Joe... Moore

it also convinced me they were a couple

Diamond Feit

The episode of Harley an Ivy had them walking around in just a t-shirt and underwear in a kids cartoon, I was 6 years old when I seen this and i'll never forget it, talk about sexal awakening

Fei wong fong

Loved the episodes last year so colour me hyped for the return! And once we have 20 episodes of this, Duckman will get its chance to shine

I'm glad you're covering one of the greatest animated series of all time but I thought this fall would finally be the season of talking duckman....

ever see a sandwich take a bite out of you

"I've Got Batman in My Basement was robbed! Robbed I say!" - No one Purely by coincidence I just picked up the complete series and have been working my way through it, so I'm stoked to actually have every episode fresh in my mind for this round of Blabbin'.

SomeBloke

Sweet perchance to dream is my fave episode, followed by over the edge. You really feel Bruce's sadness in PtD.

Frank Grimes

OVER THE EDGE - great pick! My favorite episode even though it features Bane who is a ridiculous villain IMO. Probably the darkest entry in the series & does what the series did best - take silly characters like Scarecrow & make them truly dangerous. Can't wait to hear this!

James Babbo

NOW, you’re talkin’…er, I mean…BLABBIN’!!

Oooo can’t wait! There’s some stellar episodes in this lineup. I love hearing y’all talk about BTAS
