Weekly Devlog: 12 - 18 September 2022

This past week wasn't as productive as I would have liked it to have - I was mostly busy with updating the public demo and answering questions on Tumblr.
I did start writing Chapter Three and have the basic outline of events that will occur. So far, I've completed the leadership stat raising scene and will finish off the politics stat increase scene today. All that is left is the combat stat raising scene and linking them together for players who want to increase two stats instead of one.
There's only two broad scenes afterwards - a family scene with Zikar and Elora and the banquet scene, which I'm very excited to write. The banquet scene will be broken into three parts, being the part where the MC will deal with helping Irus win over councillors, the dance and RO scenes and the eventual climax of the chapter being a surprise visit from an uninvited guest.
I'm hoping to have everything written and tested by mid-late October and it will then be made available here on Patreon. I'm also planning on doing extra, RO POV games for the banquet scenes, but I'll give more information on that later in October.
Once Chapter Three is completed, it will signal the end of Part 1 and the game will be at least 1/3 of the game. I will be taking a break from writing new chapters, but will instead work on editing and revising the previous chapters which will be updated for all patrons. During this time, I'll also probably start doing commissions on Ko-fi as well as on Patreon, since I'm thinking of getting some proper art for the ROs and the overall game art.
I will communicate these later down the line though.
