Weekly Devlog: 9 - 15 January 2023

I hope you've been having a lovely year so far - we're already halfway through January which feels unbelievable.
This past week has seen chapter 5 reach around 54K + words in total. It is far from over, but because I really want to keep the update slated for this month for Patrons, I'm cutting out a few scenes (when am I not?). I've completed the big revelation scenes and I had planned to have two more RO scenes after the big jail-break scene.
What this means is that instead of two scenes per RO/friend, there will be one scene with your desired RO/friend. I will come back to add the cut-out scenes, but for now, my focus is on getting the main points of the chapter complete.
With that said, I have five scenes in total to write left - 4 RO/friend scenes and then a confrontation scene (spoilers). Irus' RO scene will be the longest considering it is the sex/romantic scene that will be added to his route for chapter 5 and then I'll be done. I'm hoping to finish up those scenes this week - if I can manage to finish it before the weekend, it'll be even better because it will mean testing can start earlier.
Anyway, it's not long until we reach the end of chapter 5 and I cannot wait to share it with you 😊
