Weekly Devlog: 13 - 19 February 2023

Another week has passed and now, we're quickly gearing up for the end of February. Time has seemed to pass quite quickly, or maybe I'm just getting too old for life π
This week I managed to complete Salyra's scenes and the early scenes of meeting Princess Lamahu. I also completed Oren and Anu's companion/dialogue scenes today so all that's left is the alliance talk scenes. Because it is fairly linear with only response choices, it won't take too long to write and code.
There was going to be a dance scene included but because of time, I've shelved it to add during edits - there's a lot going on plotwise so I'd rather save the extra scenes for when I have more time to properly write it. Because of this and also, because there are now four parts as opposed to three, I've decided to take my time in expanding the romances for the other three ROs apart from Irus (since he's been with the MC since chapter 1).
Elora and Oren's lock-in points will be somewhere in Part 3 and Anu's will be towards the end of Part 3.
The current word count of the chapter is 58 272 words which surprised me considering I was certain it wasn't going to go over 45K. I'm so close to being done with the chapter so I'm hoping that I can finish it off in the next few days for a weekend testing and then I'll post the early access for Patrons in the first week of March or earlier depending on how quickly testing is concluded.
