Weekly Devlog: 10 - 16 April 2023

This past week has seen me actually work on Chapter 7 properly and I can happily say that I've completed the scenes that deal with Salyra - both the letter scene and meeting the new family scene. With that out of the way, I have the stat increase scene which will correlate with a specific RO/companion character and thereafter, players will be able to have some time to themselves to pray/write letters etc.
As with Chapter 4, Chapter 7 is an in-between type of chapter which helps slow down the chaos of the previous chapters. It will be not nearly as long as the past few chapters have been and I've decided to shift a full romance scene to Chapter 8 where it will feel more natural and make more sense. I might add a small romance/companion scene at the end of chapter 7, but it will depend on how I feel 😅
Chapter 7 will hopefully be completed by the end of next week, but if it's not, I'll be pushing the update to May. With May being when I start a new job, I will be officially pausing billing for May 2023. You will still receive regular devlogs and possible side stories for May as well as early access to the newest chapter/bonus game, but I will not be billing anyone since I really want to get settled into a good routine with my new job before I start tackling writing in my spare time.
That said, I'll likely do other fun Q&As exclusively for you and maybe a livestream depending on time scheduling since I never seem to find anyone near my GMT +2 time 😂
Let's hope that I can push out an update and finish scenes faster than I have been for the past two weeks (which to be honest, was filled with family time) and get back to writing like a crazy person.
