Weekly Devlog: 17 - 23 April 2023

We're heading in to the final week of April and Chapter 7 has progressed well.
This week, I worked on completing the scenes with Salyra and the divine blessings scenes. All that's left is the RO/companion scenes and the conclusion scenes.
Originally, I was going to add a stat increase scene but with the direction that the chapter ended up going (I can never really stick to chapter outlines), I cut out the stat increase scene in favour of a hurt/comfort scene.
The chapter is just a little over 32K words and it might end up being around 40K by the time I'm done. I'm going to push this week to finish off the last scenes by the weekend and once it's done, I'll send it to my testers and start working on the side stories.
As I mentioned earlier, I will be pausing billing in May because I'm starting a new job. I will need some time to adjust and settle into a new routine before I can figure out a schedule for writing. I will still be working on Crowning Glory during May and I'll still be sharing updates and other planned stuff with you while that happens.
The side stories for April will likely be posted in May - but if I end up finishing the chapter early, I'll likely post it this coming weekend. I'll also be finishing off Crowning Glory's prologue (there are a few scenes left) and posting it in May only for Patrons. If I have time, I'll start working on the side RO games for the Ishari tier since I haven't been able to during the past two months, but I'll keep everyone posted with progress closer to the time.
