Leaked Content

It's recently come to my attention that the side stories I've shared on Patreon have been leaked on the infamous forum aimed at pirating and leaking content from IF creators - primarily paid content.
I'm really disappointed to know that my side stories, shared only on Patreon, were leaked on the forum because it means that a Patron or maybe a friend of a Patron who also read the story thought it would be quite fun to share something that others paid for on a forum that promotes theft and pirating.
Going forward, all content (including demos, stories, bonus games etc) will only be shared on itch.io which will be verified with your Patreon membership. I know that it might cause an issue for some and it might seem harsh and I apologise for that.
I need to take steps to protect my work from being leaked and this is the best way in trying to keep content that I sacrificed time and energy into creating does not get distributed without my knowledge.
For those who are caught sharing content without my permission, you will be banned from my Patreon.

Thank you for being understanding 💖 It is quite disheartening to know that this happened with a Patron leaking content since there was a compilation of the side stories made available. Whoever it was obviously could afford a membership but chose to share the extra content for free. Hopefully, the verification through itch.io will let me see who might be accessing and leaking any future content.

2023-05-21 10:21:55 +0000 UTCI'm sorry this happened to you! For anyone who might think, "Well my friend/family/whoever can't afford it." I'm on the $5 a month tier, and it isn't that much. Nowadays a latte costs more. You can always pay once, download all the stories you want, then cancel and wait until you can afford it again. I wish folks would realize there's a big difference from pirating from multi billion dollar corporations and independent creators. If you're pirating from the House of Mouse then idgaf but artists need to make a living. That's literally why they're on Patreon.

You absolutely have the right to protect yourself from this behavior and if anyone doesn’t agree or feels “inconvenienced” by your 100% justified response, they are part of the problem.
