Chapter Eight Demo Update

New to the update are the following (things in bold are new to the Version 1.8 demo):
- The entirety of Chapter Eight;
- Bidding farewell to those in Ishari;
- Setting sail to the Southern Islands;
- Chatting to your companions about Salyra, the voyage ahead and some romance;
- Arriving in the Southern Islands;
- Reuniting with Dena and a bitter foe from your past - Emos;
- Alliance talks with Dena;
- Choose to accompany Dena and Elora to secure an alliance; OR
- Remain behind because politics aren't your thing and spend it with a companion of your choice;
- Learn more about Dena's reasons for joining an alliance;
- Deal with the weight of Dena's secrets;
- Celebrate or worry about the success of the alliance;
- Dance with one of four companions;
- Smooch, hug or chat with one of your four companions;
- Choose to stay the night with Prince Irus or Queen Elora; and
- Optional explicit NSFW, fade-to-black or fluff scenes with Prince Irus or Queen Elora.
There are a lot of scenes that I didn't include in the chapter due to time constraints. Please note that while there are 'missing scenes', all choices are complete and won't lead you to a blank page. The major scenes of Chapter Eight are currently included in the demo. My testers were really great but if you do spot an error or bug, please let me know here in the comments or message me privately on Patreon.
You do not need to restart the game, however, the music in previous scenes was changed so if you're someone who prefers the music playing in the background, please restart the game. I've also fixed a bug in an earlier chapter where Salyra shows the MC Ahlf's letters so an old save will still carry that bug if you intended to play that scene again. There shouldn't be any issue with old saves but if things get wonky, it's better to restart.

EDIT (27/12/2023): I've updated the demo so that if you choose a fade-to-black NSFW scene with Irus in Chapter 5 and then choose an explicit scene in Chapter 8, you will get to choose your MC's anatomy for the scenes in Chapter 8. There's no need to restart unless you want to choose a fade-to-black scene in Chapter 5 and then an explicit scene in Chapter 8.

2024-01-19 07:30:18 +0000 UTCThanks I understand. Thats unfortunate but actually the opposite too. Sadly i cant progress with my old save data but this give me the oppurtunity to play the Story anew with maybe a slight different Character developement :D

You will need to use a save from the browser version to play online, otherwise, you will have to restart the game from the beginning. Let me know if it's confusing and I'll try my best to explain 😊

Chapters 9 - epilogue will only be available as browser games on itch.io to prevent any leaks/piracy - so you won't be able to download the game files for those chapters.

I am used to read a little bit of your story every evening but but now i finished Chapter 7 and this brought me here. I wanted more of your story 😚 I only wonder now if Chapter 8+ is only available for the webversion on itch.io?

2023-12-27 06:29:15 +0000 UTCDid you choose the explicit scene or fade-to-black scene? The fade-to-black scene does not have anatomy choices mentioned. The explicit scene does - it is there because my testers played through those scenes and I did fix bugs for it. If you're playing the explicit scene but you've already played Irus' NSFW scene in Chapter 5, you will not be asked to choose your anatomy again. In hindsight, I don't think I catered for players who chose fade-to-black scenes in Chapter 5 and then who chose the explicit scenes so that might be why you won't see anatomy variations. The variations don't change the scene - only adds flavour text because the scene stays the same regardless of gender 😊

2023-12-27 00:25:43 +0000 UTCItus' scenes are the same regardless of gender - the only thing that will change is the MC's anatomy based on player choices. I didn't have time to do variation scenes for Irus which is why there's a single version unlike Elora's 😊
