Determining RO Side Stories
Added 2024-03-06 16:51:27 +0000 UTCAs a Cyre Tier Patron, you receive one RO story per month. I usually create a poll so that the choice with the most votes is shared with you. That said, it is very evident that Irus has won each and every poll since the dawn of the Cyre Tier.
Going forward (April onwards), I wanted to know if a change should be implemented so that other RO stories are featured instead of just Irus. I don't want to change things if it's not something you think is needed but I also don't want to share the same POV if there are Patrons who would prefer other RO POVs.
The choices are the following:
- Option 1: I use a randomiser to determine story-related side stories and a poll for NSFW side stories.
- Option 2: I keep things as they've been with only doing polls regardless if it's a story-related side story or NSFW story.
- Option 3: I use a randomiser for determining both story-related and NSFW stories.

I had thought of removing Irus altogether from the polls for a few months but it didn't sit right with me 😅 But I think most Patrons want a randomiser so that'll be how things will go from April.

I'm subbed to a few Patreon that have a similar issue, and they usually either do that or exercise creative control by excluding the popular characters for a while so others can get a turn. I'm not sure that second option is as viable when you only have four options, so I'm quite happy with it being random.
