Chapter 9 Part B Update

Please RESTART the game only if you choose to give Rana a gift. One of the variables in Part A's update was messed around, so you'll get inconsistent scenes in this update if you go ahead and give Rana her gift. If you didn't choose to give Rana a gift, you shouldn't need to restart this time around.
You will have to play the game on the itch.io browser - there are NO download options to play V 1.9.1
New in the update:
Added around 37K of code and words. Word count will probably range between 30-35K;
A late night chat with Zikar (optional);
The Vinia family one-on-one scenes;
A memorial ceremony (optional) to honour Yara and Ahlf;
Dialogue scenes with Rana; and
Choose to give Rana her gift (based on earlier decisions).
This is the family portion of the chapter, so you'll not get any RO scenes this time. The update has tentatively passed testing but if you notice any errors or continuity errors such as getting scenes that you shouldn't be getting (you're able to give Rana her gift despite never choosing a gift etc), please let me know! The variables for certain scenes just refused to work and I had to rename them during testing so there might be lingering bugs. Please report any errors here in the comments or you can DM me here on Patreon.

He's mostly accepting of the MC for Salyra's sake but he does have misgivings about the MC being back π¬ If there's a particular scene that felt off or not how you're playing your MC though, please let me know!

Please do give it a few hours and try again because your last charge date (earlier) might not have reflected yet either on Patreon's side which would affect itch.io. 2024-04-12 10:18:25 +0000 UTCYes, all four of the main companion are romance options π You can only lock in your romance with one RO at a time and can only lock-in romances with Irus and Elora for now. Oren and Anu's lock-in scenes are still to come in the newer chapters. To get Rana a gift, you need to tell her goodbye before leaving for the Southern Islands (I think it's in Chapter 8). There's one response when talking to Rana where you offer to bring her back a gift - only if you choose this, you'll get to choose a gift and then choose whether or not you can give Rana the gift in the update π
