Character Portraits Update
Added 2024-05-16 15:28:01 +0000 UTCHi Patrons, I just thought I'd share a quick update on the progress of the character portraits. The sketches are completed and the colouring phase is now in progress. I must admit, I'm quite happy with how the portraits have all turned out - I think you'll all be especially pleased with how Dena's male and female version has turned out 😋
For the portraits, I used a lot of reference images from Pinterest so some of the characters will look slightly different to their ArtBreeder portraits. The artist I'm using isn't the same artist I used for the game's main cover image, so stylistically, the portraits will also look different in that sense.
I'm really happy with the outfits that I've seen in the sketches as well as Irus' crown, which I spent a crazy amount of time searching for just the right image on Pinterest, so I hope you're all as excited as I am too see the finished portraits by next week 🎉😊
