Weekly Devlog: 13 - 19 May 2024
Added 2024-05-19 10:42:41 +0000 UTCHello Patrons! Another week is done and with it, we're inching closer to the halfway mark of 2024.
The past week was spent working on the family dinner scenes for Chapter 9. I completed Elora and Irus' variations with Rana and I have Anu and Oren's scenes left. If all goes well, I should be done with them by Tuesday and then I have to move on to finishing off some alternative scenes - where you didn't speak to Belahm and where you refused to attend the dinner.
Those won't take very long and once they're done, I can move to the last dialogue scenes for the main cast where you will listen to the pros and cons of choosing to go to Vinia or choosing to go to the Nomad Tribes. Because I haven't yet finished the chapter and with June around the corner and testing still to go, I'm going to say that the demo will be released in the first or second week of June. Usually, I do partial updates but I'm so close to the end of Chapter 9 that I'm going to get everything done before updating the demo.
For those who were able to check out the post on the character portraits, you'll be happy to know that the art will be ready by this week. The due date is Friday, but there is a chance that the portraits will be ready before then. I can't wait to see how they look and I hope you're all as excited as I am to see the final portraits.
