Art Assets Update

I come bearing some unfortunate news. The artist I commissioned has had an unforseen power outage so the portraits are 2 days away from being complete but not yet complete due to the power outage caused by heavy storms.
Depending on the artist's circumstances, which I'll know tomorrow, the art will either be delayed or it'll have to be cancelled which means getting a new artist and starting the process all over again 🥲
I'll let you know the outcome as soon as I find out what's the next step forward and if there is a cancellation, I'm probably going to use the artist who did the cover art for the game.
I'm sorry this isn't a post for the complete portraits but hopefully it'll get sorted out soon.
Edit (25/5/2024): The artist has had his electricity restored 🎉 The new date for the completed portraits is the 29th of May.

Same! I don't need the art right away so a week delay is fine. My only issue if it's longer than that because I want to get the art assets on Steam for approval 🤞

2024-05-24 14:00:45 +0000 UTCI'm no stranger to a power outage 😬 I've just gone through 5 days without electricity this week so I'm crossing my fingers that my artist manages to get the power restored by this weekend which will mean a few days delay opposed to a few weeks. BTW, I hope everything is okay with you after the storm 💖

2024-05-24 13:59:39 +0000 UTCA storm hit us the other day as well. We had a tree land on our house and the kitchen roof fell in. It took a couple days to get power back on and I was stuck using coffee shop internet. Here's hoping they have better luck than me...
