Work on the chapter has progressed quite nicely. For those of you who were unaware (I didn't really broadcast it), I had no electricity in my area from last week Sunday until last week Thursday. I do have back-up electricity batteries for my WiFi and to charge my devices, but working from home also meant conserving much of that for my work laptop and IRL job.
That said, I pushed through and worked on the scenes because I really didn't want to delay the update. I've completed Irus, Elora and Oren's political talk and on Friday, I started Anu's which will be completed tomorrow.
I estimate that I'll be done with the final decision scenes either by Tuesday or Wednesday and then the game will be sent to my beta testers. It should be ready by Friday or the weekend at the latest for you to play 🎉
I've also posted an update about the character portraits which will now be ready by Wednesday as well, so as soon as I receive the final version, I'll make a post and share it with you. Because of the slight delay, I'll probably only add the portraits to the game for Chapter 10's update since I'm trying to get everything tested for an end of week release.
Thank you to those of you who have been engaging with my questions of the week! It's been really good to talk to you one-on-one and listening to your thoughts and motivations when playing the game. Even though it's been nearly two years since I started the game, I still get surprised with the fact that people actually enjoy the game and my writing enough to want to discuss it even after playing it.
