Progress Update

Hello Patrons, I thought it'd be good to give you a progress update on how everything is going.

So far, the testing has found a few minor bugs which have (for now) all been resolved. If there's nothing else mentioned by my testers by today/early tomorrow then I will be removing the game from testing and I'll share it with you based on the tentative release dates as follows:

31 May 2024: Ishari Tier Patrons
3 June 2024: Vinia Tier Patrons
8 June 2024: Cyre Tier Patrons
15 June 2024: Nomad Tier Patrons

In other news, I found a new artist for the character portraits. The good news is that there will be all six full-body portraits. The bad news is that it will be a long wait to get all six portraits because the estimated date of completion is the 10th of August 2024. The reason is that the artist I'm using digitally paints the portraits as opposed to just colouring them as well, and with the level of detail I chose for some of the outfits, it's going to be a while. The estimate is that for every 12 days, there will be a completed portrait so for now, I'm waiting to get the sketches to approve or adjust for minor changes before the artist will start colouring/painting them. I'm crossing my fingers that this works out since last time didn't end the way we all hoped it would.

For now, I'm working on the side stories as well. For Vinia and Ishari Patrons, please make sure to check out the side story links on itch.io for Irus' side story (although hold off if you'd rather wait until after Chapter 9's release since it relates to stuff from the new update). Again, I will make a single post for each tier once all the stories are ready to read but before I do that, I do upload the stories so check back often to see if anything new has been added.

I'll likely start work on Chapter 10 (Part 4) from next week 🎉 Thank you to all the new members who joined and to everyone who has been supportive with this update!
