Belahm actually considers the MC his child from the time they meet in Vinia. He doesn't come out to say it before the MC leaves because he didn't want to overwhelm them considering they're 'strangers' but Belahm did meet the MC when they were living in Ishari. He had gone back to try and convince Salyra to come to Vinia and that's when he was able to meet the MC and learn about them so he's always thought of having the MC come to live with him and Siduri in Vinia.

2024-06-12 11:07:27 +0000 UTCAh so it's poor MC who ends up as the middle child, as if they haven't been through enough already 😅 On a somewhat related note, is there a specific point where Belahm starts to see MC as his child moreso than his niece/nephew? I remember Zikar can admit he sees them as a sibling before they have to flee Vinia, but he also wanted a sibling so I imagine he warmed up to the idea quicker then Bel might have.
