Weekly Devlog: 17 - 23 June 2024

This week was quite busy with work on Chapter 10 progressing nicely. I've completed the introduction scenes which was essentially some exposition and then the farewell scenes. From tomorrow, I'll start working on the early Nomad Tribes journey scenes.
Because of the amount of variation, it will take some time for the scenes to be completed. I'll need to account for Lena if she's still with the gang and then do alternate scenes for those who didn't free her, meaning she returned to the Nomad Tribes herself.
Still, I'm excited to get started on the new scenes and I'll share sneak peeks with you as progress continues.
Due to a bug in Anu's scene in Chapter 9 and because of how big of an effort Chapter 10 will be, I'm likely going to do an early release of the intro/farewell scenes by the end of the week (based on tiers again). This will encompass the bug fix but also give you a chance to save your game at the end of Chapter 9 and then again in Chapter 10 so you won't have to restart the game for the rest of Chapter 10.
I'll reach out to my testers this week, but because the chapter isn't more than about 20K words, it shouldn't take too long. Let's hope that Oren's confession scene didn't create any bugs ๐
