Weekly Devlog: 15 - 21 July 2024

Hello Patrons and happy Sunday 😊

This past week, I continued working on Chapter 10's Nomad Tribes path. I completed one of three variations of choosing to sleep alone aka, under the stars, true caveman style and I only have two more variations to complete which won't take me very long because, hooray, it means no dialogues 😅

I did take a few days off of writing and a few real days off of my IRL job last week because I could feel myself slowly losing my sanity. I think writing daily then switching to my IRL job straight afterwards for the past few months had finally caught up to me and I seriously needed some time away from everything just to de-stress. With that said, I'm feeling much better now and I'll be returning to work on the chapter and my IRL job from tomorrow.

I estimate that I'll spend about two and a half weeks to complete the camping scenes before I move on to the arrival the Nomad Tribes scenes. There'll be a lot of variations to deal with but because they're more political/plot heavy scenes, they shouldn't take me as long as RO scenes and dialogues do since it's mostly linear when writing them.

Hopefully, I should be done with the Nomad Tribes path by the end of August which is when I'll do the next update before I move on to the Vinia path.

In other news, the portraits are coming along well. Female Dena is complete and the sketch of male Dena has been signed off by me, so I'm just waiting to see the completed version. All that's left to go are Elora and Irus' portraits. And just between us, I have to say, Dena's portraits are solidifying my decision on deciding to make them an RO 👀😏 The portraits should be completed by mid-August, so they should be part of the new demo when it's released. I will be sharing the full portraits with you before then and as soon they're all completed, so make sure to keep an eye out for announcements.
