Weekly Devlog: 23 - 29 December 2024

It's officially the last devlog for the year. Time flies when you're developing interactive fiction and as we approach the ending of the game, I've been starting to plan for its eventual release on Steam.
Before that can happen, I want to complete Chapter 11 in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm not going to lie, the festive season has made ot really difficult to focus on the game while balancing family life. I've been at work IRL since the second week of January, so this has been my first actual break from my job so I've been shamelessly relaxing π
Rest assured, now that I'm on the Salt Bay scenes, there's only a few things that need to be written β the aftermath of Ahlf's death, Miva's reasons for poisoning Erlan and some time to bond with the group in the MC's cottage.
Once the Salt Bay scenes are over, there's the conclusion of the chapter which is essentially the return trip to Ishari where Oren and Elora would have returned from Vinia, Dena would have arrived with reinforcements and Anu might just have something to say to MC's romancing her π Also, expect a love confession from your favourite queen.
I should release the side stories in the next day or so, so keep an eye out for them as well.
