Weekly Devlog: 17 - 23 March 2025

Hello Patrons 💖 I hope you're enjoying the last few days of March. Autumn has brought some darker mornings and I'm already dreading the winter months ahead so I hope those of you in the northern hemisphere are having a better time with spring.

This past week has been full of romance and NSFW/SFW scenes. It's been a long and, at times, frustrating process to write and code four variations of these scenes (remind me to write a single RO game next), but they're now officially done and I can say goodbye to them for the rest of my life. I joke, of course because edits will still come and Dena needs some romance too but for now, it's done.

Because of how many scenes there are for the three ROs excluding Oren in terms of NSFW options and to save time, I've added a quick 'cheat' menu that will let you change your body type at any point in the game. This is mostly because if you've chosen fade-to-black scenes then suddenly decide to choose an explicit scene at the end, you'll now be able to select the correct body type.

It's a bit of work to write a separate variation to include extra options for body choices while trying to stick to a March update schedule so for now, have fun testing out different variations especially if you have multiple characters and don't want to restart/load a save to test the NSFW scenes.

I was also going to work on a Virion AU short on Friday but I ended up getting some disappointing news (nothing bad but I got passed up for a job I really wanted to take so I can leave my current role), and that just left me feeling defeated and writing was the last thing I felt like doing.

I'm feeling heaps better now so once the update is completed and the side stories are done, I'll work on Virion's AU story.

If all goes to plan, I should be done with the partial update scenes by Wednesday and start testing then for a tentative weekend update. As always, I'll keep you all posted with schedules and any changes that might come up but for now, the next update should be dropping by this time next week.
