Paths for Battle - Chapter 12

There are four different ways for the main character to proceed with the main battle scenes - they all eventually join back to the main storyline but for the most part, players will have different tests and expectations. Like with Chapter 10, the scenes will be branchy and have their variable tests and outcomes which means they take a while to complete.

This poll is to decide which paths to write first which will eventually influence the order in which they appear for upcoming updates since I can't write and release them all at once.

I'll write the paths according to the number of votes they receive and if there's a tie, I'll see which makes sense in terms of writing those scenes to determine which to start first.

No romance dialogues per se – some flavour text but it's how Chapter 10 was structured in the sense there's no time for last-minute smooching 😅 So no, the paths won't include romance but the conclusion scenes will. I suggest making a save so you can play every path. You can succeed or fail regardless of the path you take so you'll get more scenes with Elora which is always a plus but can also pursue combat later. I'm not sure if it helps but Elora's path also loops back to the main/final battle so you can still get to fighting. The way it's structured, warfare is directly with combat but leadership is inspiring people. So you can be a bad fighter but able to inspire warriors to fight or persuade foes to drop their weapons and surrender. You can succeed on any path with any skillset. It's going to be very clear that you'll fail if you choose combat options and you're sitting at less than 20 combat skill. It's not a stat-heavy game and each skill will have it's chance to shine and succeed. I hope this answers you! If not, feel free to message me with more questions so I can be more detailed if needed.

before i vote 2 quick questions: will each path include romantic dialogue options for the main characters? so if i romance elora, but join irus, will i miss out on mayor romantic scenes? not directly fitting with the post, but this question came up, while reading it: what does the "skills (warfare/leadership/...) stand for? e.g. does warfare only include combat ability; if i want to imagine my MC to be in the frontline and lead the soldiers like a general, would that mean she has high warfare and leadership? i hope its somewhat clear what i mean. anyways, very excited for all of this.
