I've been fortunate enough to have a long weekend and the next two weekends are also filled with extra days off, so I've been happy about that 🎉
Last week was really productive in terms of writing and I'll continue working and finishing off the politics variation for the bridge battle scenes, before I work on the divinity path and move to the bridge scene.
Once that's done, I'll be testing the scenes and then posting it for a May update. Thank you to everyone who voted on the poll about the update schedule. It really helps knowing what you prefer when it comes to updates so I can plan my writing schedule 😊
I'll also be posting a short poll this week about the side story for April so keep an eye out tomorrow and make sure to vote to have your voice heard. With the update moving to early-mid May, I'll be splitting my time between working on the game and completing the side stories (with it being long weekends, I'll likely complete the side stories this upcoming weekend).
After the bridge scenes are done, I'll be going back to complete the river battle, ambush and the temple paths. All these paths differ in what happens with each offering different ways to complete them but they all route back to the bridge and then to the final battle with Virion.
The bridge and final showdown also offers different variations scenes to choose but they are linear in terms that there aren't different paths like in the first scenes.
If all goes well, I should take about three to four months to complete the paths (possibly sooner) and then all that's left is the conclusion of Chapter 12 followed by the epilogue.
If things go really well, I can be done with the first draft by the final quarter of 2025 meaning that I'll have the December break to work on edits and additional scenes. I'm likely only release the game in 2026. I'll probably post it between February and April.
