News on the progress of the Cyberslayers project.

I've been quiet the last few days, I know that Patrons who support me understand that quiet times mean concentration on my work.

I wouldn't want to tease and promote too much every day until I have a project that is starting to make sense.

I'm not going to lie to you, the beginning of a project is a critical phase because that's where we lay the foundation. See what will work, see what would be too ambitious and what can be improved.

The demo was really essential to lay the foundations for gameplay in general, it was quite complete.

The project itself is approached differently with those elements built in mind. It's a long term projection trying to avoid mistakes that would remain throughout the game.

That's why I'm moving slowly. It's really a deep and slow work to avoid recurring bugs and install the universe.

This first version will be an introduction to the game: introducing the universe that revolves around Aline and introducing our heroine.

On this point, I'm quite happy with its evolution. I think I have understood her psychological character in phase with a hostile universe she doesn't know. A contrast between her vision of the world and reality: hard and violent.

All the difficulty will be to calibrate the player's choices with the direction taken in her corruption (or not!).

Of course, it's a naughty game so the gameplay is centered around erotic content but the idea is also to follow a good plot with a heroine who may not be in danger.

This phase is still quite simple in the code of the game and the variables.

In the next few days, I'm going to set up the skills system and all the gameplay based on the pentagrams. It's a phase that requires me to think about the game in its entirety, I hope to make the right choices.

I don't know yet if this first version will introduce or not a fight like in the demo. It requires a considerable amount of work that I wouldn't want to backtrack.

I'm thinking about a simpler combat system when Aline is in civilian/police. All ideas are welcome.

Fighting as a slayer requires a lot of images and variables, I can't do it for every other battle...I'd burn.

I'm also introducing gameplay elements like the "BONDS" system, working better than in COL in my opinion.

To conclude, I like Aline very much, I hope you will also be able to adopt her.

I keep a date for the end of November in order to have a realistic preview of the project.
